The blinds are shut for summer and now a new season has blossomed autumn/ fall, how exciting. The temperature is dropping fast; leaves are starting to transform to this lovely vibrant colours orange and yellow. Autumn/ fall, in my opinion, is one of the finest Seasons, as they say, it's the transition season between summer and winter what I love is even though the temperature drops it's not ice-cold. I associate this season with romance; the cold makes you want to snuggle on to your loved ones and not let go. It's a Season where you can't help but cover up due to the cold; I find that leaving just enough skin on display is classy and elegant; like one of my favourite phrases goes ‘Simplicity is a form of sophistication”.
This year's Autumn/Fall beauty trend has been a wild, fun, striking but understated. There have been many beauty trends on the runways. The Glittery Eyes, Bright Lips on a blank canvas, Copper Shadows, The Less gooey Lip Gloss formulas, Dramatic Winged liners, Gold Weather Cheeks, Feathery Lashes, Mixed Mattes and Metallic ultra dewy skin, Gold leaf shadows, light Strobe skin, brushed-up brows, the list goes on. All in all, it has been a great and adventurous year so far in the fashion and beauty industry.
According to Glamour magazine Autumn Winter Beauty 2016 is all about individualism and embracing your beauty. My Autumn Makeup/Fall look in this blog is one of my favourite looks, I can never go wrong with this look, it's elusive yet dramatic, elegant and chic. The dark lipstick coupled with the brown and gold eyes Shadow forms this daring look.
My beautiful queens just because summer have withered away do not mean we should close the doors on our appearance too. Let take care of our appearance and live a happy life.
The Look The thick eyebrow for a youthful look I kept the eye quite soft by applying Gold Shimmery Shadow on my eyelid and soft brown shadow as my transition colour. The lashes from Eylure gives it an edge, coupled with high drama lipstick from the Mac Eye Shadow x9 Light Festival Palette for my lips to produce this daring look.
Brows I started by filling in my brows with Wet n Wild Colour Icon Kohl eyeliner and tidied and defined the edges with Mac Pro Long Wear Concealer NC45. This concealer also serves as my eyeshadow base.
Eyes From the Mac Eye Shadow x9 Light Festival palette, I applied the Dark and Light Gold shadow to my lid and a Dark brown eyeshadow for the outer corners of my eye and to my crease to create this soft and sultry look. I then layered the outer corners of my eye with black Eye Shadow from the palette to intensify the colour. I blended the shadows together using my angled brush.
My Rimmel London Glam'Eyes Liquid Liner came in handy as it helped form this subtle wing to give my eyes some definition, I completed this look with Eylure London Nadine Eyelashes, my favourite lashes.
Foundation I primed my face with Maybelline New York Master Prime by FaceStudio For my foundation, I used Mac Pro Long wear Nourishing Waterproof foundation NC50, and Mac Pro Long Wear Concealer NC45 to conceal under my eye and highlight my face. I set the concealer with Sacha Buttercup Setting Powder.
I used my brow powder in brown from my brow kit to contour. It's not conventional but it works for me, and it is also an inexpensive way to achieve this. I then set the rest of my face with Mary Kay Sheer Mineral Pressed Powder in Bronze 1
Mac Mineralize Skinfinish to highlight the arch of my brow, my cheekbones, the inner corners of my eye and the bridge of my nose for a beautiful, healthy glow and flawless skin.
Mary Kay mineral cheek colour in cinnamon stick for my blush.
To complete this classy and stunning look, I applied Mac Retro Matte Liquid Lip colour in High Drama on my lip.
Lastly, I set my makeup using Urban Decay all nighter setting spray to lock my makeup in and for a flawless finish.

This winged eye look is hypnotising. It's for the bold and the beautiful. Lynsey Alexander, who created this look, described it as "naughty Japanese schoolgirls meet sailor moon". Lynsey created the lines around the eye with 'Mac Superslick liquid eyeliner in On The Hunt over the Chromaline liner in Black". For the inner corners of the eyes, she used Glitter in 3D Silver to apply.
This look is one of my favourites. I love the simplicity, minimalist and youthful look created by makeup artist Pat McGrath. The model looks fresh, and she almost appears like she has no makeup on. The striking thing is the white highlights on inner eye sockets.
