Some of my feel-good activities are praying and reading the bible, listening to music, pampering myself, and traveling to different countries. I must admit that, lately, I haven't had the luxury to travel.
Traveling rejuvenates and strengthens me, making me feel better. As a result, it motivates me and prods me to be a better mum and a better version of myself.
My recent trip to Canada has been an amazing experience and an eye opener. I had an opportunity to tour some parts of Canada and few areas of America and to dine at some of the finest restaurants in Canada, one being the CN Tower.
The CN Tower is a fantastic restaurant, with a remarkable view, located in the heart of Toronto; the experience had been magical even though the food wasn't that great and a bit pricey. I had expected a lot more from the food because of the restaurant's standard, but it turned out a bit tasteless; I can cook a better steak than the one that I had, even on my worse day. If you are gluten and dairy intolerant, do not order a starter; you will be served a cut-up lettuce, with small sundried tomatoes as garnish.
The restaurant was in a tower, and it rotates 360 degrees; it has glass windows that allow you to see Toronto City in all its glory.
My friends, if you ever have a chance to visit Toronto, please go and experience it. I enjoyed it so much, and the company was lovely.
My friends, let's treat ourselves better by traveling, being happy, and reminding ourselves of the precious jewels that we are.
Verdict: Traveling is always great for the soul, and it broadens the mind.
