Hi people, as much as I love expensive designer brands, I have never been the one to focus on them.
Often time’s people think wearing a designer label makes them cool or sophisticated. Ladies, do you remember a time you have seen an expensive outfit tried it, and you feel it looks better on the model than it looks on you? Hell yeah, I remember plenty occasions (sigh). How about this one, seeing someone who has too much money coming out of an expensive car but still looking cheap.
I am here to challenge myself and to challenge you that, this is not always the case. I like to wear what I feel comfortable in and what flatters my body. I’m curvy, and I like to accentuate my figure. Quality plays a major factor in whatever outfit you select.
Some expensive brand outfits do not look as good as something not as costly and sophisticated.
The most important things I consider when choosing an outfit are:
1) Choosing the right colour to suit your complexion
I stronger believe a colour makes a vast difference, and it’s vital when picking an outfit.
Know what colour compliments your skin tone, for example choosing a colour that does not compliment you, can end up making you look washed out. No matter how much money you spend on an outfit, it will never look right if it doesn’t fit well.
2) Choosing the right fit and the right style for your body shape
If the outfit is unflattering to your shape it's wearing you so no matter how expensive it is people will not see its value or worth.
It is not about the label it's about the design.
3) Making sure you are buying the outfit but not the price tag
Like I mentioned earlier in this blog, you do not need to spend a lot of money on clothes to look good neither do you need big brands to feel fabulous.
The rules above have helped me get it right.
The outfits I'm sporting in the pictures are all less than 15 pounds, and I hope you feel I look as good in them as I feel.

Verdict: No matter the cost of the outfit, make sure the colour is right. The outfits highlight the best parts of your body and hide what you need to protect. You know what I mean ladies however much you spend on a gear make sure it makes you look and feel like a million pound chic.
Most people find floral print quite overwhelming but I think a cute floral outfit in summer screams lovable, nature and lively.
